Devil’s Fork State Park                             

Nestled along the shores of Lake Jocassee, with a picturesque background of the Jocassee Gorges Wilderness Area, lies Devils Fork State Park.

Effective September 2, 2003, there is a $2.00 park entry and launch fee.

Annual Passes are available for $50.00, and can be purchased at the Park Office or at any other SC State Park. Annual Passes are good at all SC State Parks.

Visitors to Devils Fork State Park can all agree that it provides one of the best vistas available at any upstate park. Located on the south shore of Lake Jocassee, a cold, clear mountain lake, the park offers a vast variety of recreational escapes for all.

Lodging varies from modern day mountain villa's  to a primitive tent site, with hot showers and a park store nearby.

• 20 lakeside mountain cabins (villas)

  • Fifteen 2 bed/1bath accommodate 6 people

  • Five 3bed/2bath accommodate 10 people

  • Two 2bedroom cabins are user friendly for the physically impaired.

• 25 walk-in campsites 10 are water front

  • Central water is available in the tent camping area

  • Restroom facilities are located in main camping area.

  • Limit of 1 tent per tent pad & 6 person max.

• 59 RV campsites with hookups including water, electric, showers, and dump station.

  • Each site is paved and has individual water and electrical hookups, grill, fire ring and picnic table.

  • Sites accommodate RV's up to 36 feet

  • (1) RV & Tent per site or (2) Tents per site, 6 person max.

  • 8 waterfront sites

  • 5 pull through sites

  • 2 vehicles per campsite, no off pavement parking, day use parking lot available for excess vehicles.

• Two covered picnic shelters, reserved for $30.00 per day, if not reserved they are first come-first serve at no charge.

	25 walk-in tent sites $9.00, plus tax

	Boat-in primitive camping, $3.00 per person per night plus tax. No reservations.

• Campground

  • Two (2) night stay required for reservation.

  • Reservation must be made 24 hrs. in advance and may be made 11 months in advance.

  • Campsites are non-transferable.

  • Cancellations must be made 24 hrs. in advance and will be charged a $ 15 handling fee.

• Mountain Villas

  • Fifty percent deposit required at the time a reservation is made. Mastercard or Visa

  • Two night minimum on weekdays

  • Three night package most weekends

  • Holidays are nightly rates

  • Memorial Day to Labor Day: Weekly rentals only, Monday to Monday, or Friday to Friday.

  • Labor Day to Memorial Day:  Three nights on weekends, 2 night minimum weekdays.

  • Cancellations 15 days notice required for full refund less a $15 handling fee. We must have your original receipt to process refund.

• Hours of operation during Standard time: Su-Th 7am-7pm; F-Sa 7am-9pm

• Hours of operation during Daylight Savings: M-Su 7am - 9pm
